Canning Fish















Most people do not know what is the process that food goes through to be canned. So I am going to write how fish are canned so everybody will know. It is not easy to do because it should be done in a factory.


After the fish are caught from the sea they are delivered to a cannery in iceboxes in trucks. Then the fish are cleaned so the scales and stomach are taken off. After that the fish are washed very carefully. After that salt is added to prevent the growth of micro-organisms. Then the fish are washed again to make it sterile. Finally the fish are canned and delivered to the shopkeeper to sell it to the people. This process would maybe take five days to be finished


In conclusion, it is not easy to can fish only if the steps above are followed. this process can be used to can other food.
